Reviews For Brothers of Bond
Author's Response: Autumamberleaves, I understand, and I promise that there will be VERY soon. And I agree, things need to move along now and that is what is happening. No more lulling, things are at the point where they need to progress into the main plot. nit-pick or not, I like to hear what my readers think! And thanks, I'm glad to hear it! Thank-you. -Mel :)
Author's Response: Spritualwitch, Thanks, glad you like it. I shall keep that in mind although it is really that bad? -Mel :)
Author's Response: Jessirose85, I will keep that in mind. There will certainly be some in the future though! Thanks. -Mel :)
I especially like how Snape is just watching from the sidelines, when he so desperately wants to be a part of their life. How sweet. Can't wait for more, great chappie as usual. Author's Response: Pandora, Thanks!! :). He does want to be a part of their lives but feels that they're better off without him. he's worming his way in at times though, like the present. Thank-you! -Mel :)
Great chapter! -P.G. Author's Response: P.G, I love your reviews, thanks. They're not treated like twins but mostly from the fact that they have different links out there such as two seperate familes etc. True, they do act like twins. And no, the cloak did come from Dumbledore...sorry for the confusion. Thanks. -Mel :)
I smiled at the thought of Draco getting a Weasley sweater with a big "D" on it. That is an adorable image. And then they toss them aside! Haha! Ooh, go Snape for sending the book to Draco. Interesting idea there. (Although poor Harry for having the thought about the reminder that he and Draco really are not related.) I like how you still had Harry get the Invisibility Cloak. Nice. OOH! Aunt Andromeda Tonks! Awesome! That was almost as good as the book from Snape! Oh! Oh! LUPIN! This was such a nice surprise of Christmas presents from a surprising group of characters! I love it! The snitch was an interesting idea. (Is this the very same snitch James used to play with out on the school grounds to impress people - i.e. Lily Evans?) Aww, Snape's little heart lurch as he saw Draco with the book...I think he needed something more than pumpkin juice in that goblet, too. Haha! Dying James's hair green! *Snort* And oh, poor Snape again, not willing to part with his pictures of Lily... My favorite bit was the last section. You really captured that Severus is a haunted, damaged, and regretful soul...Well done. Author's Response: Raven Knight, Ooh how I love your reviews! So entertaining, motivating and just smothered in wonderful-ness. The Weasley jumpers a famous and it fitted in my mind that as Ron's friend, Draco would get one too :P. Thanks for all the comments, I am unsure of how to answer them all. Harry needed that cloak hehe, no Potter seems complete without it. Plus I do believe that Draco will want to indulge in it more than him though. I thought that I should involve more people and let the boys know that there are people out there that care and I wanted it to be a twist to receive contact and the idea jsut sort of came to me, especially Andromeda. She would never know her nephew if Lucius and Narcissa were alive I reckon so this is her chance to re-connect. Plus, I wanted a way to bring Tonk in prematurely, which will happen later. And Yes! That is indeed the same snitch that James used to play with to impress a certain reluctant redhead. Yeah, loved that Snape moment. James' hair going Slytherin green was actually something I could so see happening lol. His pictures are like part of his memories, in his mind if he parts with them than he's parting with his memories of her, so yeah :(. I'm thrilled to hear that, for it was what I was really hoping to do right. Thanks!! -Mel :)
Author's Response: Koori, Thanks, I'm happy to hear that. -Mel :)
I'd really like the story to keep moving though. it's like you've placed it in a lull...but I digress. can't wait to read the next one! ~shige Author's Response: Shige, Thanks! I agree, I am trying to move the story along now. I do feel that I had to establish things first but now it is finally time to get down to the main plot. Glad to hear it. -Mel :)
Author's Response: graynavarre, I'm very thrilled to hear that! Thank-you every much. -Mel :)
