Great chapter as always. Yes, yes, yes I would like to see more. Snape identifies with these two, abuse, and broken in spirit boys because he is also one. He was so lucky to know Lily and see what he could have "if only....." His love for Lily will finally let him make the "breakthrough" to take the boys as his own.

    Author's Response:

    Alifromnm,

Thanks. Haha, good cuz there is more coming. True, he was one hense he has deeper understanding in the area. You are correct in your comments, although it won't just be his love for Lily that will cause such an event and prgression.

I am enjoying this story greatly, but I hope you would show some staff investigation of the boys' abuse THIS year. With the clues the boys are giving, only an incompetent teacher would not make inquiries.

    Author's Response:

    Poirot,

Thanks, I'm glad to hear it. Sadly though, the involvement of the staff proceeds before or during their second year where the main plot of the story takes place. True, but Dumbledore is insisting that there is no need to inquire or investigate further and you know how deeply people tend to trust him.
