Author's Response: Fmh, Thanks. Will be updating very soon. -Mel :)
I think this is the first one I have read, from the brothers genre that I actually like. Well done with Snape, he's very believable. Author's Response: jflame, Glad to hear it. Yeah? Well I'm thrilled and honored by your comments! Thanks for the review. -Mel :)
Author's Response: B00kw0rm92, Heh, yeah you'll find out really soon. I agree. Will update in a moment. -Mel :)
Looking forward to more! -P.G. Author's Response: P.G, Yeah. And you're right, he doesn't understand otherwise he certainly wouldn't have or else he'd have spoken to Harry about it, left a note etc. They really need each other, I agree, but it only it was that simple (finding him). Thanks for the review and will update very soon. -Mel :)
I wish that Draco had talked to Harry about his worries and hadn't made the foolish decision to leave him. Doesn't he realize what his leaving will do to Harry? I hope that they will find him before someone who shouldn't does. I wonder where Draco is going? To his Aunt Andromeda, perhaps? Author's Response: Silverstargirl, Yeah, although at least Dumbledore kept them together so they had someone to rely on. Draco has spent too much time around Harry, he's established some of his Gryffindor compulsiveness to just act without rationalizing entirely. Although he really believes that his departure will give Harry more safety and such, although he forgets that their connection goes both ways and how Harry will be deeply effected. He will be found soon, by who...well can't say. You've got a good eye for things though. Thanks for the review. -Mel :)
Author's Response: DazzlingD, I agree. Updating very soon. -Mel :)
I just loved that moment of bonding between Snape and Harry, by the way. Lovely chapter, but I'm so scared for Draco. What if Deatheaters locate him? :O Author's Response: Pandora, Yeah. Draco didn't know if Snape would worry at all, but he is sure that Harry would move past it and live on without him, he doesn't quite understand that their connection works strongly both ways. Thanks for the review! I had to have a lot of bonding here, just wouldn't be right otherwise. And yes, Draco is in danger right now...you'll find out what happens soon. -Mel :)
Anyways, great chapter. I love how the misconstrued wording affected Harry and Draco. They must have felt so awful when Snape yelled at them because of the books. I think that makes your Snape seem very realistic, as he didn't mind the cleaning so much, but the books really upset him and made him flip his lid. Very nice chapter-I can't wait to read more! -P.G. Author's Response: PG, Oh yay, another lovely review! :). And will he figure it out soon, he's not very experienced with this "happiness". Although it's not the major thing he's feeling...it's the starting things such as protectiveness and such. I do try very hard to keep Snape in character, even during moments that may be more tender. And yes, he "flipped his lid" lol I love that phrasing you used, made me laugh. But you're right, it's the books that annoyed him most, the cleaness was more of a "what the?" than anything :P. Thanks again and will update soon! -Mel :)
Sorry to go on I'm sure you have much better ideas Author's Response: Fmh, Oh no, I love your ideas! Particularly the one about offering him Draco. I will take these all into thought, but you have inspired some events in the next chapter, Thanks!! :). I like to hear all idea, comments etc. So thanks for the review and inspiration. -Mel :) |
