Reviews For Serendipity
Poor little Sev! His tummy hurt! He's so cute! I love that he laughs at the misfortunes of others! XD Like when they're all shocked and whatnot. But now he's scared and he doesn't like Remua around. :( But yay ice cream!! Now, I don't want to be rude or snotty, but I caught one little typo:"friend of hers at the dorms who was teacher it to her baby brother." the "teacher should be "teaching". Don't worry, I make mistakes ALL the time *winces* I'm pretty bad about it actually. But if you want me to just shut up, then by all means tell me. I'll read tomorrow, but right now I must give in to the powers of sleep. Again, very good!!
Was it me or did you have Sev giving more into his urges in this chap? I do wonder, also, why Sev was scared at the beginning. Was it becuase of going out on public? Or specifically becuase Remus was there? I got to admit, I don't have much to comment about on this chap. I do like the interaction between Tonks and Ginny, and between Remus and Harry. So, Teddy and Sev are yet to meet officially...though seeing Teddy is only 2 months old, he won't do much with Sev now. I like how Harry is getting to discover little details about Sev already. Like how Sev will listen to him if he talks certain way, and how Harry knows what Sev wants. Baby ice-cream. That is GREAT! I love ice-cream and would be very distressed if I couldn't it eat. And I loved that scene of Harry feeding Sev. Also, Harry calling Sev 'Cub' was very cute! Just like the "little big man". It suits him, and amazingly, Sev doesn't complain about it. Which makes me think, that he did listen to what Harry told him last chap, to just go with the flow. I read some of the reviews which say that this story will be in the lapse of a year. So, Sev will be a year and a half...hmm...ok, I just hope I can read it all soon! :) Ok, I hope to read chap 5 soon. So far, I'm loving the story. Though I read this chap while at work, but today it's a holiday, so, I'm eager to read and comment! See ya! GM
I am curious about the next chapter - the trip into mind thing... Mila
Wonderful! V.
Author's Response: Early congrats on the new grandchild! :) Yeah, you should totally check out baby sign language! I'm glad I've convinced you to try it. Babies are like sponges in that stage of life and they absorb things incredibly quickly. You'll be surprised at a child's learning ability once the communication barrier is out of the way. :) To answer your question, the timeline for this story is about a year, give or take a few days. It starts in June of '98 and ends in June of '99. Thanks for the review! :D |
