This is cute, but really, Teddy is waaaay too young for how he is being portrayed. A 2 month old doesn't understand or care whether they're going or coming, so long as they're with their mother.

How old is Sev's physical age now though? I forget. He's cute. ;-)

And I did like the hug between Harry and Lupin. That was nice. I also like seeing Harry portrayed so fatherly. It's adorable. ;-)

    Author's Response:

    Hi! Thanks for the review!

Sev is five months old at this point. Anyway, in regards to Teddy, all babies develop differently and think differently, really. It's very much the same as how all adults think differently, and how two people of the exact same age can act so radically different. The brain is a wonderful and mysterious thing. If given the chance, I would study it 'til the day I die. :-) But I digress. Teddy is an intelligent little creature. And he's made a friend with Sev. And, in my mind, Teddy cares about leaving his new friend.

Furthermore, (and this is just my personal belief), infants, children, teens, and young adults are constantly compared to what society calls "typical" examples of each. They're always judged against these "normal" kids. Yet who defines normal? Whose judgement do we bow to when we say a baby is developing "normally"? To even say such is thing is to accept someone else's standards as one's own. Personally, my definition of "normal" is different from everyone else's because I flat-out refuse to submit to someone else's standards. So...yeah. To me, in my world, this is how intelligent little two-month-old Teddy would act.

In summary, thank you SO much for the review, all babies develop differently so Teddy is by all means (and by my definition) perfectly normal, and I APOLOGIZE for going on so long like this. Lol! :-P I tend to write...a lot...and when I get started I can't seem to stop...as you can probably tell... ;-P Okay, I'm stopping! :-)

Enjoy the rest of the story!

I'm so glad that Harry and Remus had a "manly hug" *snickers* It's guy love, not gay love, guy love. *snickers more* Made up a song about that with my friends, but I'm rambling....

I can't wait until Sirius comes into the mix. Sev's just going to LOVE that. But now he has Teddy to play with. What's his adult mind think of THAT I wonder? Probably doesn't really care anymore. *giggles* Poor Sev...

But seriously, I'm with the Potions MAster in this chapter: bring out the chocolate pudding! lol But I like mash potatoes and corn too. Love it really. I'll read and review later. Again, Very good!!

    Author's Response:

Wow! :D Well...First of all, thank you for all your reviews! I'm more than glad you're enjoying the story! :) And I thank you for pointing out that typo earlier. When I write I tend to type it all really fast and when I'm on a roll I sometimes end up writing 10 pages worth of stuff in a stretch and going back and catching every possible typo is rather difficult for me. So thank you for pointing that out. I'll be sure to fix that the next time I update. :) Anyway, I'm very glad that you're enjoying the story and I hope you enjoy the rest of the chapters posted so far. Sirius comes in eventually and that whole fiasco is posted already so you'll be able to see what happens when you get to it. :P

Again, I thank you for all your reviews so far, and I really, really appreciate them. ;) Happy reading!

    Aw, that was really sweet.

I bet the grown-up Snape would be mortified that Ginny kissed him, and that he wanted to kiss Harry too! ;)

I like this story! Teddybehaves like an older child, though. Eg. Two month old cannot play lying on stomach yet and they sleep much longer. Never mind, though. Mila

Author's Response: Well he doesn't actually play. If anything, it's Sev who babbles and plays. He just enjoys Teddy's company. I had him on his stomach, though, because it's recommended that you switch your baby's position to their tummy every now and then to prevent the development of a flat head at this age. Anyhoo, thanks for the review! :D
