Reviews For Serendipity
I have one thing that slightly bothers me though (you're probably getting sick of me and my bothers, aren't you? Sorry!) there's a section where you call a male horse a "bull-horse". Normally that's not the appropriate term, it's "stud", but since this is a different type of horse, one of your own creation, I wasn't sure if that's the term you were wanting to use. I'm not trying to be mean!-but living on a farm and all I just had to wince slightly at that. But it's your creature, and it's your story, so do whatever the heck you want! ;D I realize something else to, Winger, you're putting in so many little mysteries that you're forcing me to keep reading instead of doing homework. VERY sneaky of you Winger! Very sneaky indeed! I'm off to the next one!! Author's Response: Lol! Aw...shame on me! :P Actually...you're doing the same thing too. I'm supposed to be doing my astrophysics homework right now, but I keep checking this thing every 15-30 minutes because you review every chapter. Lol! So we're doing it to each other. ;P It's all good. I don't mind too much. My homework isn't due 'til Friday anyway. I'm actually supposed to be writing the rest of the story right now, like I promised my readers, but I'm hopelessly distracted. Turnabout's fair play, I guess. :P Anyhoo... First off, just like always, thank you for your wonderful review. And no, I don't mind the questions. It's what actually gets me to respond. I usually only reply to reviewers that ask questions on the stories. Um...I believe the section you were referring to with the "bull-horse" description was describing a Bonnacon. I actually came up with none of these mythical creatures. These are all mystical creatures from a VERY long list of every mythical creature in every mythical story in the world (which is posted on Wikipedia). You can actually look up a Bonnacon (or any of the other creatures I described) on Wikipedia, and in this case, a Bonnacon is said to have the mane of a horse but resemble a bull in all other respects. Thus: bull-horse. :) It's quite literally a bull-horse. :P LoL! Here's the (VERY) long list I pulled the creatures out of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mythical_creatures And here's the specific section on the Bonnacon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonnacon Good luck with trying to do your homework, considering the sections featuring Lily and Sirius are close at hand. ;P Seriously, though. I hope you enjoy your reading, and thank you once again for the reviews. :)
