Reviews For Serendipity
I liked the talk between Remus and Harry at the beginning, and how saw that Sev's teething. Ouch! But he'll get over it soon enough. Plus he's got Harry anyway. He's good to go! ^-^ And the whole Dumbledore thing was really interesting. I'm afraid my minds a little foggy when it comes to them,so I think I'm going to go research them again. But you actually made me feel sorry for Albus in this one...if just for a moment. That's pretty good considering I don't like the old coot. But you're doing really well!! The end was adorable with Sev! XD I LOVE that he wanted to give the Headmaster a ballon! So cute! And then he tells Albus to smile and be happy? ADORABLE!!!! And he wants to be just like Harry. ^-^ That made me happy. Ooooo!!! If you had a NEW generation of Marauders with Sev in the mix that would be SOOOOOO cool!! One little mistake though: "The teenager looked down at gaped at the baby in his arms." I think you need to turn "at" into "and". It didn't make sense to me, but then again, it's late and it could just be me. I can't wait to see where this is going! Another good one Winger!!
And now they're all a close little family group aren't they? Harry's finally got the family he's always wanted. YAY! And Sev's got the family he's always wanted too! Yay! But where WILL Sirius fall in? I hope for his sake he's not going to try and be the pet because that will just hurt him psychologically in the log run. He might snap at Snape (Ha! Sorry, I just thought that was funny). I think Remus has the right idea to be careful though. Sirius can be a bit...odd at times. Very cute Winger! Sev bath time is always a fav! XD
And I like your explanation for James...still not a James fan, but I can like him better in this, which means you did a REALLY good job, because I'm quite stubborn once I form opinions of people in stories. So I was really impressed with that. And the whole cave scene was great. But WOW!!! O_O Sirius at the end was actually...an adult! He was totally being respectful and accepting. The whole "Welcome to the pack" thing was cute, even if Sirius didn't actually say it, it was still all but said. ^-^ Very good Winger, and thanks for your thanks for the reviews! (does that make sense?) And the concert went well, and I did well on psychology. Everybody wins!! I'm off to the next chappie!!
And Ron's all for a house, but Hermione doesn't seem to be...knew that's how it would be. And Remus seems to be a fuddyduddy this time. Is it because he's worried about the muggles when he becomes a werewolf? Or is it something else like he doesn't think he should keep taking from Harry? Poor guy, either way makes sense to me. And Harry and Ginny are such good parents! They stand by their Sev! XD Very good! He's such a cute little guy!...can be a brat sometimes, but still! Cute!! Again, very good Winger. I'm going to have to read tomorrow. I'm REALLY tired tonight. See you on the 'morrow!! Author's Response: Lol! I'd imagine. I hope that psych assignment went well. :) Yeah. :P Sirius and Ron actually have no choice but to take it without too much fuss. Both Ginny and Harry have pointed out on two separate occassions that Sev is to them as Teddy is to Remus and Tonks. Ginny made it clear to them in the car that if they want to keep seeing Harry, they would have to put up with Sev. Otherwise, they would never see Harry again. It was Ginny's ultimatum that got them thinking about how they acted towards Sev. You notice how they're both really quiet in the car. What Harry said to the two of them in the garage was practically the same thing as what Ginny told them in the car. The idea was that if Sev didn't feel safe around Ron and Sirius, Harry was not going to take him to see them; and since Sev goes where Harry goes, if Sev doesn't feel safe around Ron and Sirius, Harry will not be able see them. Thus, Ron and Sirius have to make it so that Sev feels safe around them, thus allowing them to keep seeing Harry. That, and both Harry and Ginny made it clear that insulting Sev in front of either of them is like insulting Teddy in front of Remus and Tonks. They'd have to deal with full-blown pissed off parents if that happens. And that's actually what Ron and Sirius had to deal with in the car in the previous chapter--full-blown pissed off Ginny. They didn't want any further repeats of that performance. Now, that doesn't mean there won't be little outbursts here and there. There will be. There was, actually, as you noted in your review. Yet Harry dealt with those as they came. Oh! And I think you misunderstood the reference. :P Er..."Meh po dad a back!" is a reference to a line from the previous chapter. It means "I'm more important than Black!" :P He was chanting it over and over and over again as a sort of reminder of what Harry said to him in the restaurant: "Yes, you're more important than Black!" "Meh po dad a back!" --> "I'm more important than Black!" Remus is reluctant to take the house because he feels Harry's already done too much for him. He's given him a place to live (Hogwarts), a permanent job (professor), he's making him Wolfsbane every month, he's working to change the laws in his favor, he's stayed with him throughout the years. He feels that Harry has already given so much to him. He's reluctant to take something this big, no matter how good it is. He's a rather proud man. Uh...and yeah. I think that was all. I hope the concert went well! :) Oh, and did I forget to thank you for the review? How rude of me! THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEW!!! :) It's much appreciated.
Outstanding chapter (even if it was a cliffie), very well done.
