Unexpected twist in the story! I think Severus was compassionate and helpful, though suitably upset. Ron will take a while to come around.

Oh well this is...different. I approve!! I LOVED the scene with Ron, Harry, and Draco. Very cool. I think that, given Harry's reaction to Ginny's pregnancy, Ron will forgive him...eventually. Ron's trademark is that he has a temper tantrum, holds a grudge for what seems like forever, then eventually gets over himself. I think Harry and Ginny should both complete school. I dunno about the Weasleys. I can't see even Fred and George laughing this off, but then Harry was already planning on marrying Ginny, so...I dunno. Anyway, fun so far!! :0)

I love how Ron blames Harry alone...it takes two to make a baby. Ginny is just as much to blame as Harry for this set of circumstances. I hope that the rest of the Weasley family will be more understanding and won't treat Harry like a pariah. He truly loves Ginny and they are getting married regardless. This just pushed things forward a bit. I am not condoning them having relations at this age, just saying that you cannot blame just one of them. This is why you should wait.

    Author's Response:

Agreed, definitely a good thing to wait.  Having children requires you to be completly unselfish.  You can't afford to be selfish and have a baby... they really do demand 100% of your time.  Not to mention finances... if you're broke before, you'll be twice as broke after a baby, and it's important that the baby has what it needs, so you have to sacrifice food and what you need for your child.  Even if your finances are good, it costs around $20,000 to give birth, plus about $1,000 extra a year in expenses like diapers, wipes, formula, toys, clothes, etc... and then doctor bills when the baby gets their shots and goes to see the doctor every 2 months.

But having a child is very rewarding so long as you are ready and committed.
