Reviews For Letting Go
Author's Response: Agreed, definitely a good thing to wait. Having children requires you to be completly unselfish. You can't afford to be selfish and have a baby... they really do demand 100% of your time. Not to mention finances... if you're broke before, you'll be twice as broke after a baby, and it's important that the baby has what it needs, so you have to sacrifice food and what you need for your child. Even if your finances are good, it costs around $20,000 to give birth, plus about $1,000 extra a year in expenses like diapers, wipes, formula, toys, clothes, etc... and then doctor bills when the baby gets their shots and goes to see the doctor every 2 months. But having a child is very rewarding so long as you are ready and committed.
Harry and Ginny are certainly making plans, aren't they? I hope they don't rush things too much. Great chapter! Author's Response: Well, we don't have to agree. I have children and I would never do that to them, but I'm not Severus Snape. I believe it is something Snape would do being somewhat inexperienced.
Thanks for the review!
Usually, I'm not a fan of Ron, but this time I have to stand up and give him a standing ovation. I'm glad that someone took Severus to task for the pain he inflicted upon Harry. Great chapter! Author's Response: He did it because he's Severus, and he's currently inexperienced with dealing with the feelings and tantrums of his own child. It is ALWAYS easier to deal with somebody else's kids because you can walk away at the end of the day if things don't work...
