Reviews For Blood Magic
I'm kinda proud of Harry for not 'following the crowd' and deciding to pass on drinking the firewhiskey. I do wish though that he hadn't bought it for Ron either. They both deserved the punishment they received. Harry needs to more careful in how he treats Hermione; his treatment of her in Hogsmead was rude, improper, and offensive. I know that Harry felt he was only teasing, but Ron was right to call him out on it. Hopefully, he will consider Hermione's feelings before engaging in that kind of behavior in the future.
Can't wait for the next chappie. Author's Response: But I posted two today! I probably won't post more tonight, but I'll do another two tomorrow morning. We're getting close to the end....
Harry is such a flirt and such a bad boy. I love it!! :) I love your version of Harry. I hate a goody-goody Harry. Author's Response: ;-)
I do wish that Severus had allowed Harry to explain what happened before losing his temper. It's not Harry's fault that Hermione misunderstood what he was trying to say, which is basically that he is confused by all the conflicting expectations that are being sent his way. He needed someone to listen to him and help him to understand and cope; unfortunately, she took it as a personal insult instead. Whether Hermione wants to admit it or not, she too has certain prejudices against the 'pure bloods' and her expectations of Harry were rather unfair. He is playing a balancing act right now and isn't quite certain where he stands or belongs. He doesn't feel that he truly belongs in either world. It's probably best that they have decided to see other people for now, because neither of them is ready for the kind of relationship they were beginning to fall into. Author's Response: Yes, that's exactly what Harry needs. And Severus feels so guilty that he's making things worse, just as Hermione made things worse because she was afraid. I hope you're enjoying it!
I'm glad that things seemed to be smoothed over with Snape, and him taking Harry gently by the shoulders, while he was yawning and sleepy, was just too cute.
Author's Response: Snape is definitely not handling this well. He knows it though. Glad you're enjoying it!
ooh, I can't wait to see Snape's reaction to the pants.
I hope that everything works out with Remus and Hermione. Severus has to be careful what he says from now on, he's influencing Harry.
I sense that Harry is trying to do what he perceives as pleasing Severus, and it's not necessarily how Snape perceives it anymore. Author's Response: Yes, they've definitely disconnected on that, by now, and in multiple ways.
I'm glad that everyone got to see the Hereim ritual though, and how much James still loved him, and how much Severus wanted this. |
