Ha! Now, this time, using his charm and avoiding his friends' interrogation, he really seemed to live up to James' reputation!
I loved it! You have a well told story here with excellent characterization and a good plot. I liked Severus' and Harry's relationship growth. It started off rocky but it was allowed to blossom over time.
I read a lot of different HP fics and I really appreciated the Harmony aspect to this fic as well as the Drarry (Harry & Draco friendship). Those relationship connections made this fic all the more enjoyable. Thanks for writing.

Mmmm-Hmm. OK, I guess that just convinced Ron as well. (giggles at the fun to come)

Soooo many of the Snape personality characteristics are coming out in Harry already! Dumbledore was right. Plus, he is so much more mature - but that could easily be put down to the way he grew up. Love the mild pranking on Minerva!

Severus truly is doing a pretty good job as a dad - he is teaching Harry valuable critical thinking skills, though he is doing a harsh job of it as well - tougher than most would be capable of managing. Good thing it's Harry, with the combination of DNA and environment he has grown up under.

Actually, quite proud of Harry, for getting rid of the cigarettes. Wonder if the addiction takes hold that quickly? It didn't seem like he's really had that many... but then, I guess we don't really know how many he'd had over the summer, to survive hi starvation. Honestly, neglect and emotional abuse are just the other sides of the (3-sided!) coin to physical abuse - I cannot really feel sorry for the Dursleys either; they had already trained Dudley to be a sociopath, as they clearly were themselves.

Remus has a valid point. People all have a breaking point.

It's true - no one can do anything anymore - the Dursleys are dead. And, Harry clearly is damaged. Dumbledore deserves to feel immensely guilty, and more. I also got the implications of Remus thinking Harry is being 'groomed' by Severus - old lover's jealousy dies hard!

Re-reading happily. This is such a classic. I prefer Snarries, but every now & then, I like a good Severitus - type. Weird, huh?
