At least we can be confident that Ron believes that Harry is well..Harry. I don't know why Hermione didn't do as Ron just did, ask questions. I suppose it never occurred to her that certain charms and potions can cause people to appear to look different and some of those are long term.

-deep sigh- Deeper and deeper. You know, there is a reason why the telling the truth is always the best thing.

This is what I was afraid of. Hermione is going to get the wrong idea and Harry is going to be the one that suffers for it. They should have told the truth to his friends at the very beginning. I don't quite no why they didn't just use a charm or something to prevent them from telling anyone that didn't already know.

    Author's Response:

I think if there was a simple "don't tell anyone this" charm, it would get a lot of use!

But yes, things general get worse when Harry tries to hide things from his friends; Severus, though, is used to everything being a secret. It's how he knows how to handle things.

I have a feeling that the woman who visited Remus is going to cause trouble of some kind. I do wish that Severus would allow Harry to tell at least Hermione about their secret, because I have a notion that her and Ron's research and development project might expose it, causing some ugly reactions.

    Author's Response:

    :-D

It's certainly likely to expose something....

I've really enjoyed the story up to this point and am certainly looking forward to reading more. The growing relationship between Severus and Harry is perfect (not too fast or slow) and the relationship adjustments within the Golden Trio are very realistic. No friendship stays the same, because we change as we grow, so it's nice to see it happening between them.

    Author's Response:

Thank you! I'll be posting more in a few minutes.

In some ways, the Trio was harder to write in this story than the Harry-Snape interactions. All three of them have ways in which they can be unreasonable with each other, and it's hard to get the balance of that. Add in teenage romance and everything gets more chaotic! I'm glad that it's working for you. :-)

Good chapter, with Severus trying hard to be paternal, which must be quite scary.

Author's Response: Yes, definitely! Thanks. :-)
