Reviews For Blood Magic
Author's Response: Yes, public interactions will be a strain for a while. :-)
Imagine Snape saying that to Harry, just to keep him away from Lupin. I wonder if he really believes ti. I love how protective Snape is getting. Great chappie.
Author's Response: I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for the comment.
Author's Response: Thanks, and enjoy!
I'm enjoying the complicated H/Hr relationship as well. Author's Response: Severus has some problems with expressing positive emotions, doesn't he? ;-)
Thanks for the comment!
'Tis an adverb. Author's Response: Well, no. If it was an adverb, it would modify the verb. I want the verb to connect the subject to a modifier, so I'm using "act" in the sense of "seem to be", for which my unabridged dictionary gives the example of "he acted angry". "He acted angrily" would be a perfectly valid sentence, but it would mean something else -- that the subject acted with anger. Similarly, I would tend to read "he was acting suspiciously" as "he was acting with or from suspicion". Harry is appearing suspicious (in the sense of being worthy of suspicion), so the form I want really is "he was acting suspicious."
Love it.
Well...I mean, I've read it before, but when you read it the second time, you can really pick up on brilliant little descriptions and dialogue that I missed the first time. Author's Response: Great! I'm glad there's new parts to find. I'm enjoying all your comments -- thanks for reviewing. :-)
On to the next chappie. I'm so enjoying rereading this story.. Author's Response: Yeah, it didn't seem like a good trade, at first!
