Reviews For Blood Magic
Author's Response: Well, there was a house broken into and three people died -- Obliviators may manage to remove all memory of the Dark Mark and men in robes, but the entire incident couldn't be erased. Anyone talking to the neighbors would find out about a fourth member of the household -- a withdrawn, badly dressed teen -- who was supposedly at a reform school that either doesn't exist or has never heard of him. As the missing person, he's an obvious suspect, and I imagine people would begin to extrapolate, and the neighbors to reinterpret what they had seen....
Author's Response: Thank you!
Author's Response: Remus as a wolfy werewolf is really a break from canon, but I wrote original werewolf fic before I wrote HP fanfic, and really prefer the werewolf aspect to have some effect on the human form, at least near the full moon.Having decided to allow myself that, I could do so much with it! And yes, Remus was freaking out! He'll be much calmer for a while, now.
Author's Response: Weaving this highly unlikely scenario in with then-canon was one of the things that inspired me to take the challenge. Another was that I wanted to have Sirius dying cause Harry -- eventually -- to become more mature. (When HBP finally came out, I was really disappointed with how it glossed over the effects of the battle in the Ministry.) Thanks for commenting!
I guess that being confronted with information that goes against everything that you've believed so far, is difficult for Snape to process. Poor Harry. I can't wait till he gets out of there.
I love that love, that if anyone can scare the brat into silence, it's Snape. Dumbledore is so manipulative; he can make Snape do anything with a mixture of manipulation and guilt. You portray these characters so perfectly. Author's Response: Even when he's certain Dumbledore will not get him to do what he wants this time....
