Reviews For Outcast's Alley
Fantastic story! Author's Response: LOL, not telling!! (I know something you don't know! Nyah nyah!) Glad you like! Thanks for the review!!
Author's Response: Yey!! Go chocolate. So glad you're enjoying it!! I am, too. It's a lot harder to write then Talking Hat, but that also makes it more fun, in some ways. It's a nice balance between the two. :0) The update should be out sometime in the next two days. :0) Thanks so much for reviewing!! It makes me really happy to get review from the same person for both fics. :)
Author's Response: Nope, it doesn't. :0) We'll get there... Thanks for the review!! I love it when people read both stories!!
Go Harry, if chocolate's alright, things can't be a complete disaster, lol. In the beginning I loved the fact that all Harry's changes were gradual, but then you had to go all cliche on me and be like: "whoopah! wings and horns overnight on his birthday!" ...still, you still get points for at least trying to be plausible. Those points are totally reinforced by Harry's being upset with his mother, that totally rocks, and is, again, reasonable, as opposed to him accepting it with hardly a blink of an eye. On the whole, very good, I look forward to reading more of this story. I always enjoy a good creature fic. ^_^ Unrelated, but, btw, I LOVED Harry's desperation to be better/loved in the last chapter of Talking Hat. ~sigh~ It was most heart-wrenching. On a last note: Ah, magically timed letters. Where would fanfiction be without them? Author's Response: Yey! Thank you for the nice long review!! Yeah, I definitely think chocolate makes a whole lot of things just a bit better. I didn't like the final big change, either, but the wings and horns had to break through eventually, so...I should also say the birthday thing was mostly coincidence. I needed him in Knockturn Alley on his birthday to get the letter. (And lol, yes, magically timed letters are SO convenient!) I'm really glad you like the fic so far. I'm really enjoying writing it. :0) And so glad you like Talking Hat, too! I love having people reading both my fics. :0) Thanks again for the review, and happy new year! Rhiannan
I like that Harry was able to help out with food preparation and make some new friends. Interesting how that skill worked out. I wish he'd eat the raw meat though, he seems to want to, just won't since his mind still objects to it. Lily's letter was very interesting and although I think I know how Harry's father is, it will be interesting to see him find out. He shouldn't have dumped the paternity potion, for some reason I think he's going to regret it and maybe even try to brew one himself. Great story, I can't wait to find out what happens next! Author's Response: Yey!! Glad you like!! LOL yeah, poor Harry steps in it a lot. He's trying, though. And yeah, he's still got to get used to the differences in general. He's only had the one day, after all. And I agree - dumping the potion was noble, in a certain way, but kinda dumb, too. Again, glad you like! Thanks for reviewing!
Your take on how "creatures" live in the wizarding world is really interesting, i hope to see more of it later :) i also can't wait for snape to show up ... Author's Response: Yey!! Glad you like!! :0)
Thank heavens for chocolate. I do hope he has a very large stash, he'll be needing them. Author's Response: LOL yup, I imagine he will. Plus for a lot of other things I've got up my sleeve...hee hee. (I know something you don't know! I know something you don't know! nya nya!) lol yey for being childish. And yey for chocolate! BTW, I recognize your screen-name from another website. (The fanfiction community is a lot smaller than it seems sometimes!!) I believe you also know me as someonenotme?
This story is very intriguing. I can't wait for Harry to discover who his dear old dad is! LOL! Author's Response: Nope, he doesn't. :0) Glad you like so far!! Thanks for the review! |
