Reviews For Finding Home
Author's Response: To be honest, I was always wary of Dumbledore, even while reading the Canon version. I find it very easy to characterize him this way. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: For Albus, the only thing that really mattered was 'the greater good' and he was willing to sacrifice anyone to achieve his goals, even an innocent child. The worst part of what he did, though, was not giving Harry the training, tools, and information he needed to truly succeed; much of what happened to Harry could have been prevented if he had. Harry was forced to muddle through. Thanks for reading and reviewing my story.
And bastard!Albus is one of my favourite. Author's Response: I like bastard!Albus too. Honestly, I never trusted him even in canon. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for reviewing.
Harry is right, he will be safe with Severus, and yet I wonder why and how he recognizes Severus? Did Severus visit him back when he was still living with his parents? Or is there a deeper connection? Guess I'll have to wait and find out. I wish Severus would go and curse Vernon to hell. Sick *&^# . . .well you get the picture. Great job and please update soon! Author's Response: Yes, Dumbledore is quite nasty this time, and don't worry, Vernon will get his eventually. As to Harry knowing Severus, I will get into that (in part) in the next chapter. Thanks for the lovely review!
And love that Figg is willing to help both Harry and Severus. I can't wait for more fabsx Author's Response: I'm really glad you are enjoying my story. Severus is quite lovely, isn't he? :D As to a plan, well, not quite, but he is wonderful at working on the fly and is always prepared for such.....eventualities. Arabella, despite being rather shy, has quite the backbone when she must and she loves little Harry. Thanks for the review.
I wondered how Albus would know about Vernon's intentions (and inclination) - first I guessed that the piece on info was in Arabella's letter, but how would she know? 'Intentions wards' were a surprising solution, very neat and original. It makes Albus even worse, though, as it implies he knew the real state of abuse. Bad, bad Albus. Your Harry is more abused than canon Harry, as it is common in fanfics (that is no criticism, simply an observation). I still wonder how Severus would know that there was no night buses in Surrey; it is an unimportant thing, though, hardly worth explaining. Nice touch with the corrupted police! Update soon, please, Mila Author's Response: Truth is no one knows exactly how abused Harry was in canon, except the author. She kind of dances around the idea and doesn't give specifics, probably to make the books a little more appropriate for younger readers. It's hard to say, though. It was difficult to figure out how to make Albus have reason to send Severus without having obvious proof, so I played around with ideas a bit and this what I came up with. Glad you like it. Thank you for the lovely review.
Author's Response: Unfortuanately.....ah nevermind, you'll find out eventually. xD Thanks for R&R!
