I love this! Short, sweet, but not too sweet. I love your Harry, abused, on the road, and compliant - but I love how he develops. I love your Snape, very snappy, but still with enough compassion. I love that you didn't muddle around with dozens of original characters, but only one good one. This is is great :)))

    Author's Response:

Thank you very much. Writing Snape is always a fine balance between too nice and too nasty.... Mila

Good stuff! I like how quiet Harry came out of his shell. Your original supporting characters were very good too--I really liked Susan and the zoo. It was a very good story about overcoming abuse; thank you for sharing it.

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind review! I aimed for subdued but not broken Harry; reviews indicate I was successful *happy* Mila

Wow! Definitely not my usual type of HP story, but I was only 500 words into it and hooked! I thought the lack of magic might bother me, and while it was definitely a little odd to have not a single mention of magic whatsoever, surprisingly it didn't at all. The story is very good! And I think you've won for length of a single chapter. lol! ;)

Thank you very much, this is a great breather from the norm. Shakes a person up and gives a little space to step back and look with freshly critical eyes at all the other 'regular' HP stories. Actually, it kinda makes me want to try one out on my own...(Even though I have yet to venture into writing in the HP fandom yet. But maybe I could handle this.)

Thanks again! Maybe you'll gather the inspiration to come out with another one at some point in the future. Congrats!

    Author's Response:

Hi! Thank you for your kind review. I wanted to write something different, thus the lack of magic. I think I wanted to prove that the characters are interesting enough even without magic. I hope you will start writing too - it is a big fun to create a story and play with the characters. Mila

Aw, that was really sweet. I wish that we could have seen more of the in-between years with Sev and Harry.

I'm glad that Headmaster Black believed Harry and apologised to him.

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. I had to stop going on with the story - I would write about the new school, interactions with the new classmates, Amelia romance, etc etc. The story would be too long and I would never finish it. Mila
