Reviews For You Can't Always Get What You Want
So Draco has had a change of heart. That should please his parents since they have had a similar epiphany. And he found that Severus is on that side, too. Interesting. Author's Response: I love doing research on stupid little things that don't really matter to anyone but me. I'm glad you enjoyed that little tidbit too. Draco was always a wasted character to me in the books. He had such potential for change and growth, but it was never realized. I love to write stories where he and ultimately his parents also learn the lessons they need to get along with everyone else in their world. Thanks agains for the reviews! T
Was that a description of an actual painting? Author's Response: Yes it was, but it was actually painted much later and not in the Louvre. It was painted by... I want to say Howard Pyle or possibly Maxfield Parrish... for a children's book. I don't remember what the name of it was, however.
-somedayistoday Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review and the kind words about the story. I am writing chapter eight now. After a few false starts, I finally am happy with the beginning. T
Author's Response: Thanks for the reviews. I really do appreciate them a great deal. I'm glad you're enjoying the story. T
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
Author's Response: I don't think Draco had far to go to come to the conclusion he reached in this chapter. I got the impression from cannon that he was pretty sickened by the whole DE life. Thanks for the review. T
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the kind words. I will be posting again this week. RL got in the way of me writing, and everything is getting back on track. T
I'm glad that Draco has had a change of heart, and how he saved Luna (and Gregory Goyle). I love how he is now actively, though secretly, working against the Carrows and helping their victims. I hope he will continue down the path of redemption. This is a truly wonderful story, Tambra, with so much depth, and tension. I'm very eager for the next chapter! Author's Response: I always thought it was horrifying, what Harry did to Snape in OotP. I can imagine Snape felt quite violated, of course we know why now, but really, it was almost as if Harry did a mental rape of Snape. It didn't help that Dumbledore encouraged Harry to peek and prod into things he had no business being in, but still... I'm glad the transition to understanding between these two wasn't too abrupt. They still have some issues, and probably always will, but at least they are able to talk about their problems rather than increase their hostility. Thanks for the kind words. I am planning on having a new chapter out next week. T
Talk about a dose of reality. Great job Tambra. I'm so exhausted from work, please forgive me not giving a more detailed review. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Author's Response: Thanks, and don't worry about the length of the review. I understand completely being exhausted from work. I just don't buy that Slytherins didn't take part in the resistance against Voldemort. It never rang true to me. Draco and Lucius' change of heart aren't the only ones, but they are the most important. T |
