    I like the way you are weaving the various story lines into the chapters. It's nice to be able to find out what changes are happening to the characters. Albus' changes are really shaking things up in interesting ways.

    I always think that if one thing changes in a timeline, it all can unravel.  I'm glad you like the way I'm telling the various stories. I was worried it was reading too disjointed.

    Interesting info about the ink. I used to do paper conservation so tidbits like that always interest me.

    So Draco has had a change of heart. That should please his parents since they have had a similar epiphany. And he found that Severus is on that side, too. Interesting.

    Author's Response: I love doing research on stupid little things that don't really matter to anyone but me.  I'm glad you enjoyed that little tidbit too.

    Draco was always a wasted character to me in the books.  He had such potential for change and growth, but it was never realized.  I love to write stories where he and ultimately his parents also learn the lessons they need to get along with everyone else in their world.  Thanks agains for the reviews!

    Going to Hogwarts sounds like a good decision for Harry and Hermione. Hopefully, Snape and Harry will be able to work together on the research. I wonder how Snape will get medical help for Hermione?

    Lots of action in this chapter. So Lucius and the LeStrange brothers were sent on a suicide mission. Sounds like Bella doesn't feel any loss. Poor Severus does end up in the middle of these situations. Trying to help behind the scenes and trusted by none.

    I never imagined that Bella was particularly attached to anyone other than Voldemort.  She is the archetype of mindless sycophant.  Snape does always end up in the middle.  He can't help it, he has the same saving people thing that Harry does, only on a larger, much more self-destructive scale.  Thanks for your continued interest in this story.  I hope to update by Friday.

    I'm really glad you updated, otherwise I would not have found this wonderful story.

    Your depiction of Percy is a gift. He was a hero and I'm happy at least one of the family knew that before he died.

    I feel like this is more like what DH should have been like. War is messy and makes for strange bedfellows. Hard decisions have to be made and things and allies change at a moments notice.

    Can't wait for more!

    Author's Response: I was always a little saddened by the original handling of Percy in the books.  He had so much more potential than we saw.  I'm glad you like my interpretation of him and his efforts during the war.

    So the pairings have already changed. And Hermione didn't obliviate Harry. Lucius was certainly having second thoughts about his Death Eater status. Will he have the courage to change? Looking forward to finding out.

    The marriages of Harry, Ron and Hermione are an interesting start, especially since Rowling recently stated that she wished she had paired Harry and Hermione. There don't seem to be too many stories where Albus changes things so I am looking forward to finding out what happens.

    I have just re-read this story with great enjoyment and would love it if you could continue it. I loved the use you made of cannon and the pairings are ideal much better than cannon!

    Author's Response: Thank yous so much.  I haven't abandoned this story, i Just lost heart after my computer crashed, taking my notes with it.  I will get back to it soon.
