Reviews For You Can't Always Get What You Want
I can't wait to see what you have planned next! And Tambra, please feel free to mention this story and provide a link on the Prince and the Seeker, if you'd like! Author's Response: Thanks. I know this is a duplicate of your first review. I just didn't want any unanswered reviews. (My OCD is showing.) T
I can't wait to see what you have planned next! And Tambra, please feel free to mention this story and provide a link on the Prince and the Seeker, if you'd like! Author's Response: That first interaction was the most important. I really wanted to set the stage for some other action later on. Thanks for the review. T
And I like how you show Lucius as having some conscious and not being a complete monster. Author's Response: Well, the H/Hr thing was a request from someone and I have never written Harry with anyone but Ginny, so it is a challenge. I hate to portray any character as a complete monster. Even Voldemort had his moments, though it is hard to reconcile him with any humanity he might posess. Lucius has been an intriguing character to me since DH. I like to portray him with a little more conscience than he normally shows. Thanks for the lovely reviews. T
What a great beginning, though I'm sad that Harry and Ginny's marriage has not worked out. I think you perfectly captured that sense of regretful, resigned acceptance when both parties have realized that they're better off ending the relationship, yet there is still a wish that things could have been different. I love Dumbledore's presence too, and the desire/plan to make things right for the two people that he cared for, and yet treated so badly. Great beginning again! Author's Response: Thanks. I really wanted to catch that pathos and sense of relief that they were feeling. I'm glad you felt it too. Dumbles is hard for me to write. I don't know why. I think that's why so many of my stories have him dead or off camera. Thanks for the review. T

Author's Response: Thanks. I hope you read more. T
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. T
I wish that this version was what really happen in Canon. Great work. Tambra I'm so anxious for the next chapter. Author's Response: Thanks. I kinda wished that too. I mean, Snape and Harry were so alone in their little corners of the world. Ron had his family and Hermione had hers, but Harry was just this kid that his guardians didn't want. Snape grew up the same way, but didn't have any real friends after that bit with Lily. I hope to have the next chappie out by Sunday. Cross your fingers. T
Can this ever be repaired. Great chappie yet again Tambra. Author's Response: Everyone but Ginny. Poor girl. Things in this timeline will be much different.
Thanks for the review.
I can't wait to see what Dumbles has planned for our boys. Author's Response: Thanks for the encouragement. I don't think I've ever written Harry with anyone but Ginny, so this is a challenge. I hope you enjoy chapter 3. |
