This remains an amazing read no matter how many times I come back to it. I love your characterizations of Snape and Harry, the humor infused throughout, the realism of the setting and surrounds, and the touching moments that unfold with such natural ease.

My chapter reviews feel inane compared to the masterful way in which you weave your chapters. But it still feels like the least I can do to show my gratitude. I loved the perspective of Snape and Harry that you showed through Petunias’s eyes. Harry handled the revelations remarkably well, and the cops bringing Harry home contrasted the two worlds they live in well.

This was a lovely chapter. The discussion about adoption was so well navigated, and the way that Snape acted towards Harry on the boat ride was absolutely heart melting. Thanks for such an emotionally fulfilling chapter.

This is quite a powerful chapter with, not one, but two emotionally charged scenes that are brilliantly written. I love the way that Snape got to the heart of why Harry ventured out from the safety of the hotel room, and the scene with Harry feeling the weight of loss was simply beautiful and touching. I like Snape’s definition of home.

This was a riveting chapter! My horror kept growing from Harry’s one step to the next. Excellently done. I imagine that Harry is looking forward to Snape’s reaction with a fair bit of anxiety.

That was a profoundly touching moment when Snape took Harry onto his lap. Harry’s words were absolutely perfect. I love how they’re finding their way towards a father-son act that is becoming believably real.
