Reviews For The Definition of Home
It is pleasing, gentle and you know how to craft the feeling of relationship. You may laugh at me, a lot, but I have found the river Mersey, the restaurant, Lily's road, St.Mary Way, a park in Stockport, but not the small alley, on which you placed Snape's house,'Spinner's End- so what is the alley's road name?I hope it exists. I would like to use Google earth to walk down it.... Would you give me a clue? *a hand tugging hair* After 14. January 2016, your story gives a quiet balm. He is missed. Please write on from time to time. Best regards. Author's Response: I didn't use an exact address, but had in mind the park by Bridge Hall Primary and the neighbourhood south of there for Lily, and the neighbourhood directly north with the city/country names as Snapes. Hope that helps. :)
Great chapter.
Are you a phsyciatrist? It seems like you are really good at evaluating minds. Sirius was always my favorite character, and I hate how most authors overlook him, but i honestly think you've got the true interperation of him. Thank you for these amazing updates. They are fast and full of great stuff. Btw, do you have your chapters pre-written or do you write them the day of? I'll be waiting to read the next part tomorrow. Great job :) Author's Response: Thanks for the review! :) I'm not a psychiatrist, actually, I'm not even a parent. I think when I become one I'll probably be a very strict one, hee. Thanks for the note on Sirius, I think he's much better suited as a big brother to Harry than a father figure. As for the chapters, I have the whole story planned out, and I write the scenes a bit out of order. Then I string them all together. :)
Poor Harry! I understand perfectly his horror at Severus' sudden insistence on seeing to his sexual education. It's his own fault, of course, and I've a feeling that he will be far more careful in the future; if only to spare himself further humiliation and embarrassment. xD
I love that Harry called Snape "Dad" and, if I'm correct, neither one of them even noticed. I'd wager that they didn't pick up on it after their days in Amsterdam. Harry was quite used to calling him that and Snape was used to hearing it. And then there was the distraction of the Malfoys. I love your portrayal of Snape's house. I'm writing a story and your version of Snape's house reminds me a lot of mine. I like it. I'm glad Harry likes it too and that he defended it. It's small, but very homey. :D I'm very curious about T.S. Eliot. It would seem that Snape admires the man quite a bit, for he's named his "son" Elliot and Harry overheard him quoting "The Hollow Men" a few chapters back. I've always thought Snape would be a well read man so this excites me. Can't wait to see where you take it. :D I love the relationship developing between Harry and Snape. You're doing such a great job with it.
