Omg! It's a darned good thing that I had gone to the loo before reading this story, or I would have peed my pants laughing at that conversation about sex! Poor Harry. Imagine having your most uptight, strict, dungeon-bat of a professor, teach you the fine details of sex!!
Yikes, what a hilarious chapter. I really love this story, and Snape's an old softy, underneath that hard veneer. That was too cute, how he secretly arranged for Harry to have a cake and have the staff of the restaurant sing him Happy Birthday.
I always get a little shiver of excitement when I see that you've updated. wonderful story.

I don 't guess I commented before, but I have to say I love this fic and the relationship Harry and Snape are developping. The "Dad!" moment in the chapter above is fantastic! and I loved how Harry defended Severus' home against the Malfoy's comments.

That's lovely!
Snape can write an entire book on how to embarrass children. He's quite efficient at it; what with the "birds and bees" and the birthday singing.
The episode with the Malfoys was also interesting. The animosity was unexpected, especially on Draco's part.
I'm wondering how Harry will get through the warded door... sounds like the next chapter will be pretty exciting.

aww.. Snape raising his glass in a toast, dressed cool with an air of elegance & a small charming smile.. ^.^ [I'll be looking out for your next update!]
What a fun chapter! I felt Harry could've died from embarrassment during Severus's sex education spiel. Thanks for not making his sexual preference explicit, I do like to think he might have interests both sides of the gender divide, and you've left that open for the readers.
I just think the setting has been worked so wonderfully. The house in Stockport is the exact kind of house that Harry would settle into and love. He wouldn't buy himself something overly fancy or large, he's not that kind of person. He's just starting to slip into Snape's house hold and I love every minute of it.
I can't wait for the next part.
