I'm really liking this so far. I like how you have portrayed Snape being a bit more relaxed than his is at school. But since Harry is a wizard, could he just make his tattoo disappear whenever he wanted? Just wondering. Good job, update soon :)
Author's Response: Not during the summer. ;)

I really liked this chapter, as I like your story and your writing style.
And this is your story, just do your thing!!!!! Snape acts like Snape would do, he is not a cuddling teddy bear after all ;-)

I really like how the story is progressing! It's moving at a nice pace, and you are doing a good job of developing the characters and the plot. Keep it up!
PS the Indiana Jones part was cute!

Love this chapter the punishment was appropriate and just. Harry I don't think would think Severus was too harsh or unfair. Snape is being a stern but understanding guardian... Harry is testing his boundaries and Severus is being very patent.
I absolutely love the Indiana Jones part and when Severus called him Dr. Jones LOL. Fantastic... Love it.
Looking forward to the next chapter.

nice story, but you should make it a bit clearer, that what Snape is doing as a "punishment" to Harry is nothing else but torture, even if it is not a very strong form of it. Especially with the ending of the chapter some readers might think that such a behaviour towards children is ok or even normal. You should make it clearer that this is child abuse just as much as what the Dursleys are doing in your story lest someone would think it ok or even do it to their own children.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Respectfully, I don't agree with the opinion that it is torture. While having mustard on your tongue for three or four minutes is definitely not comfortable, it is not unlike having your mouth washed out with soap for swearing. Gross, disgusting, embarrassing, but oh do you learn. In any event, Snape doesn't do this again in the story - it was already planned that this is the only time.

Brilliant, just brilliant! Letting Snape in character is not a easy task, you managed it perfectly!
Great chapter, please update soon.

I wonder what would happen if Harry asked to stay? I know that Severus would be surprised, shocked even, and would hopefully ask why. If Harry is safe enough in Severus' home for a weekend, surely they could find a way to make it more permanent. Wishful thinking never hurt anyone, right? :D
Great chapter!

Really enjoying your story so far, thanks for writing & posting! I am excited to see how your version of Snape deals with the Dursleys, and how your version of Harry helps Snape with his task.
