The memories made me uncomfortable, they made me feel real sorry for Snape and Harry. I just wondered why Harry needed so long to realise it is his mother as a child he sees in Snape's memories even if he only knows her from photographs. I thought the ending was good, and also the last sentence with Snape speaking to Lily's ghost.
Finding Harry's grandparents was an interesting twist. Especially since they know and are fond of Severus and invited him as well. I liked the memory of Severus and Lily talking and her laughing about Snape hating her children if she married someone else. It took a while but he finally got past it. That was a good story with an interesting concept.
They left Petunia because Lily died. Hm, I guess it would make her bitter.
Yay Harry's grandparents are still alive! I love the name Ginger for Lily's mum. It's very fitting:)
Is there any chance of a one-shot sequel showing that Christmas in Oregon?
:)
Well done!
Author's Response: Hm, now that's an idea. I hadn't thought about it. Maybe when it's nearing Christmas and the ground is all covered in snow and I'm in the Christmas mood I might put a short one together. Thanks for the review and the idea!

Awesome work. I really enjoy the direction this story takes and the reasons as to why the animosity ceases. Well done!
