Ahh... Harry and Snape are finally beginning to share some dialogue, although Harry still seems to be cognizant of who Snape was/is than the reverse. I love your detailed memories-- a reader can really get a sense of place and characters from the description/action/dialogue contained in the memories which Harry and Snape are witnessing. Nice job!

Hmm... Harry's certainly getting an eyefull and an earfull of Snape's early life, but given Harry's own tortured present, I kind of doubt that he would willingly spread gossip about Snape. Hope Snape comes to the conclusion that he could ensure Harry's silence IF Snape ceases treating Harry badly in class and out. If he DOESN'T... Harry might be inclined to seek REVENGE!

VERY interesting start to your story! Now I wonder exactly what that little silver instrument does! And what will Harry experience when he wakes up? Will he be in Snape's memory, or will he have his own flashback? And will Snape see Harry's past? So many possibilities... !
Wow. Awesome story. I really enjoyed it, though I wish it continued on. :)

*chuckles softly* He did keep his promise, eventually. ^.^ Kudos on a completly wonderful story.
I live in Washington. The Columbia River Gorge to be exact. 45 minute outside of Portland. We have family who live in Klamath Falls, so it was nice to see an accurate description of the area my aunt lives in. Tons of cougars.
I really liked this story!
And I'd really like to see Christmas too. Haha
Author's Response: Yeah, I've only ever heard of cougar issues in the forested areas around the lake and up around the hospital and college. We lived south of town out in the country and never did see a cougar. But specifically in the neigborhood I described in the story, there are signs stating to beware of cougars, lol.

I think Severus is portrayed as a little too innocent in his memories but nevertheless this is a great story.
