Reviews For A Seed in the Thorns
I'm Susane from Hungary I really like your story from the begining to the end. It was interesting to read, and I would like to show it to the hungarian readers. What do you think, can you give me the chance to translate it to hangarian, and update in a hungarian Harry Potter fanfiction page? I'm sure here, Hungary there would be a lot of people who whould like your story. Hope you like the idea to show your writing in an other language. If you would like to write me, you can find me here: zsuzsa0425@freemail.hu Merry Christmas, and thanks for ubdating the last chapter, it was a very good present for me. Susane Author's Response: Feel free to translate it but I request that you send me a link to the translation, and also that my name be clearly labled as the author, and a link be posted to the original story here on Potions and Snitches. Thanks!
Even though this was an intereting and enjoyable read, I do feel it was a little rushed and some details were left out, but it's more of an observation rather tn real annoyance or anything such. Overall, I like this fic a lot and congrats to you for a good job. Keep it up.
Author's Response: Thanks.
It's hard to be heckled, harassed, ridiculed, or verbally attacked anywhere. :( Just so you know, a flame is an electronic message. It's computer slang. You can't be flamed in real life unless... someone comes up to you with a monitor that has the flame they wrote on it to show you. LOL. You were heckled or something else. They'll do whatever, they are probably just angry at everything in general and looking to take it out on someone. It's best to just ignore them. They don't know what they're talking about. I can understand someone getting flamed over their Christian blog. People go around looking for those. Do you have the "no flame" message there? And how often were you flamed on the forum? What type of forum is it? You can always change your signature if it really bothers you. I don't know if you realize it, but asking for no flames for things other than the story may make it seem like you're looking for a fight. :( Author's Response: Yeah, I realized flame meant online but I was lazy and didn't feel like writing harassed, lol. I generally do ignore them, but again I'd rather not see the flames at all. I wasn't looking for a fight, rather requesting that one not get started on either end and I didn't think that was unreasonable. I do have the no flame message on my blog, and yet they still come looking for those blogs just to tell Christians off. It's happened on various forums I've been on over the years... threadbanger, photoshop forums, etc etc.
Thanks for the reveiw. Sorry that the labor thing was a little confusing. I generally try to catch everything that might be but I missed that one.
