SO CUTE! I loved the bit about how Snape wanted the adoption as much as Harry. And how Harry suspects Snape knows what he's going through from experience. And how cool Snape is about Harry's relationships. I just LOVE these characters.

I would really like to see Luna. I know she and Harry weren't particularly close, but her unique worldview might make for some hilarious observations/explanations with some quibbler worthy animals

I'd have chewed it up and ate it then snacked on the rest of the jar just to teach Snape a lesson about that kind of hypocritical stupidity. Snape is supposed to have Harry's back, not be a control freak about the language and the vault key. Harry has more than enough stress without that kind of BS. And more reason than most adults to let off steam by swearing instead of some other outlet.
Author's Response: And maybe Snape also has a vested interest in teaching Harry about responsibility?

So hilarious. I love how you're showing the troubles of harry adjusting to having a parent, and all the hilarious, teenage mischief he gets into. :)

I LOVE HARRY AND SNAPE! I LOVE THIS STORY! You really have a great dynamic between them. I love that - how Snape's giving him and Harry a practice run outside the castle. That's soooo thoughtful...and cute...and SNAPE! This story kills me, every time, it's just so ADORABLE. And Harry has the Weasleys back! Well, almost back! That's great!!!

I LOVE HARRY! He is just so perfect for Snape. He's so impish and Snape's...Snape! Really fun chapter. I love your description about the whispers in the dark. Such a cool concept. And bonus points for the LOTR allusion!!!

This story is just meltingly cute. I can hardly take it. I love Harry, but I hope to see him heal, become a bit more sure of himself. It'd be nice to see him kick some arse. :) After all, strength is just as important to Harry's character as is his vulnerability.

This is so wonderful. Harry's such a sweet character, Snape is delightfully caring and human while still being Snape (his hair in a towel like a girl, hilarious! and I SO get the image), I like Derek (I usually don't like OC's) and it's all just great. :)
