Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like it. :-) I'm already working on the next chapter, though I took a bit of a break to play with Photoshop for the title art. I should have the next chapter up in the next day or so.
Author's Response: I don't think the mother is going to play much of a part in the future. Basically, she's given him up for adoption, so to speak. She's underage, currently living in an orphanage, and given the circumstances of Ciaran's conception, she likely wants to push it to the back of her mind and go on with her life. It's possible that who she is may come out in the course of the story (it's not a major character, so it's really irrelevant), but I doubt very much she is going to be part of their lives. And that certainly doesn't make her a bad person; if anything, she's a victim, and she's entitled to do what she feels is best both for herself, and for the baby, which has already, thus far. So, while her identity may be mentioned, I don't think she'll be making an actual appearance down the line. Sorry to disappoint!
Author's Response: We know that, but a muggle-born Hogwarts student wouldn't. In fact, most people in the Wizarding world wouldn't know that Snape's father was a muggle. Especially given that he was an accused Death Eater after the first war, most people would automatically assume he was a pureblood.
i guess i'll find out. this is a fantastic chapter. it's just crazy that no one's reviewd yet! Author's Response: Thanks! And in everyone's defense, it wasn't validated until early today, so most people weren't awake, I would imagine. :-)
