Great story, so far. I like the concept (H & H siblings), and how Harry is still a bit of a lost soul, when it comes to family interaction/caring.
Definitely look forward to future chapters!

This is an excellent story! You write very well and I feel myself completely drawn in by the amazing work you have presented.
I adore the plot line and it is very believable and flows quite nicely.
I hope that your daughter gets well soon! I also hope that you can update with a longer chapter when you are able to do so.

I really like how you've started this. The challenge is very interesting, and you're answering it very cleverly. Harry's refusal to use his birth parents' surname makes a lot of sense, yet it's interesting to see how he's dealing with people refusing to use his name and it'll be very interesting to see how it affects perceptions later on. I love how Hermione's preparations changed the entire first Potions lesson with Snape. This is really well done. :)

This is great! I don't belie I've seen this particular set up before, and I love reading new character dynamics. The brother/sister relationship is very believable between Harry and Hermione, and I like that you were able to keep his friendship with Nevile as well as his rivalry with Draco. (It'll be interesting to watch that because it'll have to be more subtle now that Harry's in the same house. I know Draco can do subtle if he wants). Snape seems to appreciate the fact that Harry is rejecting being a Potter. I can't wait to see how he starts feeling towards Harry if he sees him as being more like Lilly.
All and all, great fic so far! Well written, and I can't wait for more!!!

Thank you for giving Harry some friends in Slytherin, while still keeping Draco Malfoy in canon character.
I feel sorry for Neville, but I'm glad that Hermione ended up in Ravenclaw. Of course this means that Ron Weasley doesn't have Harry's and (eventually) Hermione's moderating influence, so he's definitely being more of a prat than in canon.
I hope that the muse gives you the next chapter soon, as I can hardly wait to read it!

I think Harry would've been better off in Ravenclaw though, but he made friends with Theo & Blaise so it works so far.
And hopefully Snape calling Harry 'Granger' instead of Potter may reduce his dislike for the 'Boy-who-Lived'
OOH! Can't wait for more of this! I love hermione as an older sister figure! And I'm interested to see what the relationship will be between Harry and Snape! What's going to happen in defense??
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I am enjoying writing Hermione as Harry's sister, it has enabled me to realistically keep their friendship alive even with him in Slytherin, and he'll need her brains later on this academic year. :) I will have more up by this time next week.
