This is beautiful and potent angst. Raw emotion raging within, bursting at the seams, needing an outlet. Snaps has so subtly become a tamer of those inner storms raging within Harry. Simply beautiful. And so upset with McGonagall - she’s a completely awful head of house.
I've never felt that physical tightening of the chest unless I'm already crying. But reading this chapter...whoa.
The "I hate Christmas" part, I could just hear the little Grinch in his little hurt voice yelling at the top of Mt. Crumpet.
I almost never give a rating of ten, I make it a point to save it for REALLY GOOD chapters.
Have a 10. This really hurt.

McGonagall sucks for saying that to him, no matter how attitude and behavior he is still one of her students! And my God, that last paragraph kicked me right in the chest. To see Harry only calming down cause he got detention, for him to purposely get detention just so he doesn't have to be alone..... It has such a realistic tinge to this story!

haertbreaking and warming at the same time
I thought Harry was starting to trust Snape. It will be interesting to see if Snape decided to try his plan of rewarding good behavior and adding Harry to the seond string quidditch team. I am also looking forward to finding out why Harry is acting so badly this year.
Oh wow. I wonder if McGonagall really meant it. Update soon please. I really want to read more.

Wow, Snape is having a calming effect on Harry. I think that is because Harry is so out of control that Snape's strength and discipline helps Harry's wild emotions to calm. He can't control himself right now, he needs someone to do it for him.
OK I feel like an idiot! *SORRY* I love your story so far, and I want more lol.
For months now I haven't been able to leave reviews for anyone because I didn't realize that you couldn't review anymore unless you login. I usaully do not log in but then I saw you were actually getting reviews and thats the only reason I logged in I really thought they were trying to fix the securty code thing still. I really like where you are taking that story so far more please. *S*
