Sirius entering the picture is a nice touch. I am happy that Amanda survived the fall. The story has my full attention and I look forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: So am I, her first fate I had killed her off but I couldnt stop crying, so I changed it. I'm glad you werent dismayed about me adding Sirius

Wow! What a chapter! The names vanishing from the registry book was a master stroke! So very tragic to see the names disappear and have no idea what happened to them, other than knowing it was lethal.

I hope his realization about his stupidity toward Amanda allows him to be more accepting of Severus. I'm glad I read to the end of this chapter, because I was close to getting upset when it appeared as if the little girl died.
Author's Response: Hopefully, but Sirius was always a bit thickheaded. Sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, I was extremely upset when I first had her not survive the fall. I couldnt take that much angst. But, her fate is the only one safe, there will be casualties, and I'm not really looking forward to writing them. I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter though. Thanks for reading and reviews!

Yeah Sirius to the rescue. I think its weird yet cute that Harry will not let go Severus and go to Remus. Lets hope that it is Draco and Ron at the headmasters door so they can get to the Slytherins but should they be gone already since their common room in the dungeons? Or for your story you making all the houses in a tower?
Anyways that was good happy chapter
