Reviews For Windowsill Confessions
It's jolting and takes you out of the story when the same thing could be expressed through character actions or just a mention. For example if Snape just thought "I remember that fear" when Harry reacts a certain way towards an adult or something of the like. It'd easily convey a connection of abuse between them that we don't need to be showed through flashback. It's faster and feels less like you're holding the reader's hand. Author's Response: Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts. I won't be reworking this story. I prefer it the way it is. To each, his or her own.
Author's Response: Thank you! :-)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading.
Author's Response: I've been struggling with writing anything lately, so even thinking of a sequel at this point is a lot of work. I've recently made a few breakthroughs with writing, which will hopefully continue. Thank you for reading this, and letting me know what you liked about it, and that you are interested in a sequel. If the muse, and everything else, cooperates, perhaps there will be one. Thank you!

Enjoyable read. I really like this! Author's Response: Thank you so much, Dream Painter. I am humbled by your words, and am happy that you enjoyed the story. I always worry that what I write isn't good enough, so, thank you for letting me know that you thought it was well-crafted, and that it was true to the characters. I wasn't sure how the memories of Lily would play out, but I'm glad that you thought they worked well. Thank you! |
