I think this series is slightly terrible but not totally. But you seriously need to fix the errors. You have Beatrix instead of Bellatrix in the first story and Knott instead of Nott in this one. There are others, but a good part of being an author is finding your own errors. This series has so much potential to be something greater. Maybe try to give the characters more depth. Also, you touch upon a lot of issues and feelings but you never once develop them into anything. Keep writing this. I'm curious to see how it ends.
Author's Response: Unfortunately because I write so much (usually several chapters in the space of a couple of hours) I don't always catch the errors like spelling names wrong. While I appreciate that JK Rowling might find this offensive, it is a little bit nit picky to find the three or four errors in an entire body of work. I don't have Microsoft Word, I have Word Pad, which has no spell checker, and while I do go back over my work, I do occasionally miss things. If you would care to elaborate on giving the characters more depth, I welcome your input. What issues and feelings have I touched upon but not developed? You say I have never once done it but I don't think this is the case. I would love to hear some in depth constructive criticism on this specific issue, as I am always open to learning to become a better writer. Unfortunately you must be a little more specific so I can see an example or two of what you're talking about. I realize that Arcane being the sequel is quite undeveloped especially being in it's early chapters, but I thought the first story in the series did have depth so if you could give me examples from that I would be happy to look over them.
Thank you for taking the time to review. Have a nice day.
