I think it is totally normal for Snape to not have feelings for Harry. He doesn't know him and while he might feel responsible for him, that doesn't mean he loves him. I bet he didn't love Calen right off, especially with that delightful attitude of his.
Calen is such a jealous brat. No wonder he hardly has any friends. It would be nice if the two boys would be able to get along but that may be sometime coming, if at all.
Good - Severus is taking on his responsibilities with no quibbling. Just need Calen to be convinced that he won't be pushed out by Harry and they will have the makings of a family.
