heya! happy for the update and am certainly glad to see there is a sense of warming up to each other between Snape and Harry! tho i am sure Harry is definitely still holding himself back.

oh hope you dont mind me pointing it out but i did spot a typing error:
"Harry figured that there must me a numbing aspect of the spell" > must me -> must be?

other than that, i can't wait to read about how Snape feel about what happened to Harry in this chapter! (:

Author's Response: Thanks for pointing that out! I'll definitely go back and fix it. After a while, it's hard to notice your own errors...

I'm really enjoying this story so far. And I've convijced my cousin to continue reading it with me (under agreement that I skip any part having to do with sexual abuse).

Anyway other than that we both are really enjoy reading this. We both really like how you portrayed Snape and Harry.

Snape seems carry without being out of character, and Harry's comments are interesting and often amusing. The way that Harry is building trust in Severus is done really well too, as it's going at a more believable pace and not rushed like in a lot of fanfics I've read. I'm really impressed. :)

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm really glad to hear that I haven't lost a reader. I did respond to your previous comment; I don't know if you noticed, but your cousin won't have to worry about any graphic details. It's really good to hear that you like my portrayals of Harry and Snape, and that you think the pace is believable.

Oooooh, loved it, esp the ending.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, I was really looking forward to posting that ending, it was my favorite part, personally. I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone in my sentiments :)

Wow, that was a powerful chapter. I love how you ended it. It was a perfect way to show Harry some tenderness without it being frightening to him. I love that this story goes at such a realistic pace. Harry needs time to get to where he's going!

Author's Response: Thank you! That was just what I was going for, with the ending, so that's great to hear.

Harry's life sucks. Well not right now per-say but in total it does. Snape is trying to understand but Harry is making it difficult and Snapes short fuse and frustration when it comes to Harry and kids in general doesn't help much.
Lets hope that the truth gets out soon and that Harry will receive some much needed help

Author's Response: Yeah, I've put Harry through quite the wringer, haven't I? But things are getting better, and Snape is learning on the job. Thanks for reviewing!

Another great chapter. I quite like the development here. Harry is growing more accustomed to being cared for. He is starting to realize, if slowly, that not all people are like the Dursleys.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad you like the story's development. Yes, Harry is learning, slowly but surely. I've found it interesting, and difficult to portray, that as smart as Harry is, he's so lacking in basic knowledge and understanding of healthy individuals as a result of his childhood. Snape will change that.

Poor Harry. He's had a stressful chapter. Two panic attacks with Snape and a nightmare. At least he is beginning to trust Snape. I like the way you have been building that gradually though after his flashback about the cupboard, it's hard to believe he can bring himself to trust anyone.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I never even meant for this chapter to be so stressful, originally, but that's how it happened. And considering what Harry's been through, his distrusful nature is going to make it really difficult for Snape to get anywhere with him, and it will probably drive some readers crazy, besides.

They keep getting better! So grateful that you update your stories consistently. It's the worst when someone leaves you hanging. Good job and wonderful story!

Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, I do know how frustrating it is to wait ages for an update, so I do try. (Plus I wouldn't want people to lose interest, so I am being strategic, or Slytherin, as some would say). Another update soon to come.

I hope that Severus finds out so that he can make sure that Dursley pays for what he did to Harry.....

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Yes, Sev will find out eventually, but the Dursleys are dead, remember? ;)

What monsters! Sickening what they have done to that child.

You are a wonderful writer. Your character development of Harry seems to be on pace with enough of a mystery to keep reader's attention. Snape is lacking but I am sure that will change when Harry begins to trust him more.

    All in all, awesome

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Yeah, if the Dursley's weren't already dead... Thank you so much, I'm really glad you like my writing and character development. It's so good to hear things like that, since this is the first piece of writing I've ever had others read.
