Great chapter. The last line made me smile. Thanks for the update!
Ah I can't wait for Snape to get the whole story! But I actually really appreciate that you're taking your time and not rushing it. Their relationship is building beautifully.

What a great line at the end with Snape. I can just see him there, standing in the rain, stirrer dripping. I also very much lie his reward system with Harry.
I found the dynamic with Dudley to be very interesting as well. It's not easy to grow up around abuse, even if you're not the victim. I like your portrayal of the fear and powerlessness he must have felt. It must all be emotionally confusing for poor Harry.
Harry's reaction to finding out he had money also exhibits genuine and believable internal conflict. Good job!
Snape is a true Slytherin. Who else would offer a reward if Harry would answer questions? Harry seems to be somewhat suspicious but is gradually starting to trust Snape. Harry's reaction to Diagon Alley should be interesting. Being in school should be good for Harry. He has too much time to stew about things at Severus' house.
I love this story. Congratulations on winning and getting featured!
