Wow! This is such a great story. The characterization of both Harry and Snape is amazing! Harry is mature and adult-like, refusing help and thinking for himself. This is different from the clueless Harry I see in most fanfictions and that's a lovely change. The scientific details added were excellent. I always thought that there weren't enough scientific subjects at Hogwarts! It is a bit odd that Harry knows so much physics at his age but the idea of integrating science and magic is simply fascinating. I'm so glad I found your story! Please continue. This cliff hanger is killing me! What will Snape do?
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad you like my characterizations. I worry that I wrote Harry as too mature and intelligent. I did intend for him to be that way, but I may have overdone it a tad. Harry knows so much information because he reads a lot; it was a method of escape for him growing up. I'm glad you appreciate the scientific tidbits in the story; I imagined that some might be bored with it. I personally that sort of thing fascinating). Hang in there, I won't keep you waiting too long.

Woah. What a scene for Harry to see! Super scary! Did Snape see him? I bet he is really, really mad.
Great chapter! I liked how Harry went back to his old home, and then the treehouse. I wonder if he is tired because he breathed in some of the soot from the house. That can't be healthy.

Hi, so I've been a silent reader for a while and just wanted to say that this is a great, if not one of the best, Snape and Harry fanfics I've ever read. It's written beautifully, and the balance between Harry's sarcastic, light, boy-ish thoughts are really balanced well with Severus' personality. The issue of abuse is also addressed well. This is just a really wonderful story, I hope you continue through with it because it has so much potential. Anyway, cheers, keep up the amazing work!
