This was a great story, well worth the wait! I really hope you write a sequel but if not then congratulations on writing one of my most favourite stories ever :)
Thank you! I liked your fic and the way you’ve written it tremendously. It’s the best story about gaining the trust of an abused child, that I’ve read. You are really good at showing, instead of explaining, Harry’s emotions and reactions. It makes the story at the same time credible and moving. Snape’s a really discerning and patient parental figure. He’s almost too good - you’d say that he must have spent a year or two in psychoanalysis since his days as a Death Eater to achieve that level of emotional maturity…
I also liked the way you ended the story: quiet, yet intense and moving.
Ahhhhh so glad Harry is more at ease knowing Dumbledore wont take him away :) id love to read a sequel or one shots if you could let people know when its up :)

A brilliant story that I have eagerly read the new updates. I think there is plenty of scope for a sequel as Harry is still growing and the relationship with Severus is only just beginning. I await future updates

I'm glad that Harry finally talked to Dumbledore. It couldn't have been pleasant to hear that he was placed in an abusive home because of a mistake but at least he knows that it wasn't some evil plot against him by Albus. Harry won't like the answer but it may give him some closure. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
