I was glad that you included Harry's pictures. I especially liked Harry and the snakes though the one showing a fat Vernon Dursley was good, too. Harry seems to be slowly adapting to his new surroundings. If he will be staying with Severus, there will be more changes coming.

the fact that none of the neighbors caught the lie just boggles the mind.
I'm glad that Harry is out of the frying pan, but I fear he is about to enter the fire. Great story so far, though similar to A Boy Called Freak (I believe it was that one) but different enough.
Author's Response: Yes, I suppose it would be rather suspicious, but it works much better for my story if no one notices. :) Hopefully it is not too far-fetched. In the books, the neighbors seem to believe that Harry is a delinquent, this would be saying the same thing but they would not see him over the summers. And as long as no one had a second-story window too close by, Harry's set up should be hidden from sight. Anyways, I'm very glad you like it, even if you need to suspend disbelief slightly! It was a good idea to use the Muggle system to punish the Dursleys....I do hope that it isn't too late to redeem Dudley.
Author's Response: glad you liked my choice! and we'll have to see about Dudley, I don't think he'll play too big a part in this story. but he's only eleven -- he may need some help after watching his parents do this, but he's not gonna be held responsible in a criminal/legal sense for his actions. The kind lady that led him out is meant to be a social worker type person.

I like the way you are interspersing Harry's thoughts throughout the chapters. It's nice to have some insight into what he is thinking and feeling. I thought they would go through the muggle courts. It was the best option. I don't know about British law but a minor's name wouldn't be mentioned in the newspaper in an abuse case here. Perhaps, it's the same there. If so, the wizarding world wouldn't be likely to recognize the Dursley's name.
