Author's Response: Thanks for reading. It was definitely an intense one!
Author's Response: Thank you for the honest feedback! I agree about chapter length. I'm afraid to say that amidst being so busy I have used this story as a place to let things out. The next chapters will definitely be longer. As far as Harry is concerned, he is both depressed and numb at times. The story picks up at a time when a devastating event (Sirius' death) has occurred and emotions once repressed, as well as grief, are surfacing. This is why he is sometimes okay, sometimes feels nothing, and is sometimes in turmoil.
I hope the next chapter flushes things out. Please let me know, and thank you again!
I've always thought Minerva too old to handle school children. Teens, yes, she steers them in the right direction, and seems to acknowledge they have hormones. But kids like Harry, his first three years - sheesh! He DID go to her for help and only got platitudes, and told it was none of his business. And when he went to tell her about Umbridge and she advised him to keep his head down, I lost even more respect for her. She seemed to be training her students that it is better to ask for forgiveness after having done something than to ask permission or help ahead of time. Author's Response: Thank you! I agree with your insight regarding Minerva. Thanks for reading :)
