Reviews For A Chance at Love
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I've read a few fics with an abused Neville and one where hes so abused he dies from the injuries. And I've read a deaged Neville fic, but he wasnt abused, so I do get what you mean. Neville's character is so complex, in first year he craved friendship, but found nothing only solace in plants, that had to have been horrible. Originally this story was only going to be with Draco and Harry, but I know theyre are quite a few stories out there, and once I wrote Neville into the story it started to flow alot easier for me. I'm so glad you like it though, Neville is gonna be a great friend, Draco and Harry need him.
I can only imagine what kind of room would be created in order for small kids to play in. something like that painting with the stairways going every which way, defying gravity and with a ball pit... like at Chuck E cheese :-) Author's Response: I know, I always liked Poppy as a character even though she was the Medi-witch, she still had a very important part in the war. Severus is gonna be way over his head. I hadn't even though of that. I had where the boys will be stay but not the playroom part. Hmm...good idea, that is going to be important, though I don't think Sev will think of that either. We will see. Thanks for reading, means so much!
Author's Response: I update every week, so keep a look out! I'm so glad I've gained a new fan, thanks for the review it gives me motivation!
Author's Response: Thanks! I know, gotta love that blomde Slytherin I just hope he can stay that way. After all, he's uses to getting everything he's ever wanted.
I love the kiddy language :-) I also laughed when Draco actually shared something. What a 180 degree turn in his personality. IMHO DD was let off the hook too easily and quickly. But i guess there wasn't anything to gain by drawing it out. But DD DID know about Harry at least. He just purposefully ignored it because it was easier for HIM. He really does fail as a headmaster, especially preventing physicals for the students. That 101 stuff. I'm not so sure Severus is up to the task. DD's assurances don't really mean much do they? I fear for Harry and Neville. I don't think he can be fair and equal at this point. LOL, but then we wouldn't have this story would we? Can't wait for more! Author's Response: I'm so happy to see a new review, they make me update faster. Since the great response last chapter I'm hoping to update every Sunday or Monday so keep a look out! :)
I'm so glad, I wonder if you noticed the difference in between their language though. Its so fun to write ad a kid, everything is just awesome and big lol. Good, toddler Draco is going to rewrite a few things for himself, starting with Poppy and Albus.I have some plans and he fits the bill.
He was, but I couldn't continue with really hitting some hard blows to Albus. I'm mostly indifferent to Albus Dumbledore in my honest opinon I feel he did wrong by Tom, Sev, Sirius and Harry and I cannot let that go or forgive him for it. Its a delicate process when I write him as I have to try hard not to bash him. Though don't think for a moment he got off so easy...Minerva still needs to be informed lol. Personally I don't think Sev is up to the task either, he didn't even want to take them. He was guilted into it, I see him ,taking a lot of mistakes, but I also see Draco amd Neville not allowing for that. At this moment Harry needs protecters and I can see Draco and Neville doing that. Neville is an interesting character, the way he was in first year he would have never survived his Gran and Uncle if he was that timid. I think an incident brought that forth and so at five he's different. He's a Gryffindor even if he doesn't always show it.
Stick around for more though, and always review! Its been enlightening!
Author's Response: So glad you liked it, I read every review and its motivated me to keep on track with my stories. Thanks so much!
Author's Response: Well it was just that little instance in the last book, when Draco realized his father being a death eater wasn't all fun and games. And then when Narcissa took him away from the fight, she loved her son ya know? I figured Lucius didn't care in the early years but once he could mold Draco t be his mini me he did. So that little bit was hidden away, I always hated that with all the Slytherins.
They didnt come out the womb jerks. And as for Albus, I can never agree on his character. Some days I really hate him for what he did to Tom, Sev and Harry. And other days I adore him for trying ..even though he failed. Most days I'm indfifferent to him and neither like or dislike him. But I also know he had a good heart, definitly misguided and ignorant but I know he meant good at least I hope so. I have a plan for Albus so he can begin to fix his mistakes. I'm so glad you liked it, Sev is in way OVER his head.
Author's Response: Thanks that means a lot, Stay tuned and keep reviewing!
Author's Response: Me either, but I really wanted to read one. Originally I wanted to do it with Ron, but then I realized there was NO way that Molly would allow Severus to take her child. Even if she did trust him, she wouldn't give up the chance to 'reraise' her son lol. So Neville fits and I have a plan for him, and for Harry and Draco. :)
More please! Author's Response: Thanks! *Smiles brightly* It means alot. I will, keep a lookout for Sunday, that's when I'm planning on posting the second chapter! |
