Amazing Chapter again, all 3 have been fantastic and I just want to read more each time, and well done!
I'd like to see what Albus will be like in this story, will he be the manipulative old man or the sugar addicted Grandfather?
I think this will be the one Fanfiction that will keep Severus the way he should be Stern, Formal, Protective, Caring... Deep down he's a good man, he just doesn't believe it!

Remarkable chapter. Harry does not have just one father he has two Severus and James. I am glad that Severus has come to realize this.

Well I liked the last chapter as well, I think you found a difficult balance there between Snape's temperament and Harry's impetuosity (and youth). I like the interplay between Snape's understanding of the larger world of consequences and rules and boundaries, and Harry's stubborn insistence on the small things that matter so much to him. Even in the books Harry's world is limited so much to two things, his parents and his pain. And all the adults around him reinforce that by constantly defining him by his parents and his pain, so how could he ever grow beyond that?
What felt revelatory for me in this chapter is that you show how Snape is the same in that. This passage:
"Minerva. She would be careful. Harry wouldn't run from her, and she could not only adequately protect the boy, she could fix him. Severus knew from experience.
And Harry wouldn't throw it back in her face."
That brings a whole perspective to Snape that just opened me up. Not just Albus, who seemed at times to deliberately set Snape up to fail (Prisoner of Azkaban, he's outright unsupportive of Snape and allows him to make a fool of himself in front of Fudge when Sirius escapes), but Minerva, and that Snape failed where Harry might succeed in growing beyond his parents and his pain. And that keen sense Snape suddenly has about fatherhood strikes me not even so much as the articulation of how fathers are supposed to feel pride in their sons, but Snape's sudden understanding that he will only have something to be proud of with Harry if he helps make it happen for him.
Still really loving this. There's so much depth and nuance. Looking forward to the next very much!

love this, harry's and Snape's relationship is so realistic, and so heartbreaking and warming at the same time, also love the idea of Snape as a guardian angel (and how does he always pop up at the right time?) your writing style is also very great
