This is so good! I love it. Snape's and Harry's pain and hope for the future and family gave me so many feels. Especially Snape's pain for he thought he lost his son for 16 years, but then regains his son only to have it be the one he tormented ... I cry for him. Glad you explained the whole Lucius/Severus/Narcissa thing going on and how they evolved into the cold, arrogant people in the future. Thank you! I am now going to read Sheankelor! It looks really good. Hope this continues or officially abandoned (search up name on AO3 ...) sadness if it is abandoned. It is a really good fic. Brilliantly written. Somber tone for a mature topic. I don't know. It gave me a haunted feeling when I read it. Hate Dumbledore in this fic. Greater Good can bite my arse. No one deserves the pain of losing their child. No one. I guess it brings up the argument of sacrificing the few for the many ... but that's another topic for another day. Brilliant job, Beargirl1393.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! You won't regret reading Sheankelor, they're an awesome author and their stories are always interesting. Their stories are on FF.net and AO3 if you look them up. This story isn't abandoned, don't worry. I've just been really busy, I'm planning on continuing it very soon. I just need to get time to sit down and write, as well as figure out precisely where this is going. I have the main points plotted out, but connecting them is giving me a little trouble. Once I have the time, it'll work itself out. I'm also doing Hayffie week on another site, so I've been editing and posting my stories for that.

Hi,
I just read your story in one go and I really like it. I like the fact that the relationship take time to place. Besides, I would rather like if Snape and Lucius stay apart. It just don't seems like Snape to forgive someone who did that to him or Lucius to suddenly cares about a child he didn't want. Just one question, how long do you think this story will last.
Author's Response: I'm glad that you liked the story! I'm not currently planning for Severus and Lucius to get back together, for the same reason that you named. Severus would never forgive someone who betrayed him like that. If you are asking how often it will be updated, I'm trying to update as often as I can, and will hopefully have a new chapter on the 10th or 11th. If you're asking how long it will last entirely, I'm still uncertain about that. They'll definitely get to the bottom of what Dumbledore did before the story's over. Beyond that, it will end when I reach a good endpoint.
The emotion in this chapter was refreshing.... Still can't can it for the next update!
I am really enjoying reading your story. I am sure that there will be rough times but they both need each other.

So will we get to find out what Harry really looks like? Would be nice if he had Malfoy hair and Snape's dark eyes.
Author's Response: In the next chapter, I'm planning for Harry to have a bit of introspection about his new looks, so yes, you'll get to find out what he looks like and, depending on how the chapter goes, maybe how Dumbledore's deception was revealed.
Our poor boys.... Do we get to rake Dumbledore over the coals?
Author's Response: Hopefully, yes. I'm working on a way to make sure he gets his just desserts eventually, but I'm not at that point yet.
