Reviews For Summer of the Unexpected
Author's Response: Glad you liked it :)
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it so far, thanks for the review :)
I vote for keeping Severus and Lucius apart. Wonder how Lucius will react that his son is the Boy-Who-Lived...... Author's Response: Yeah, it's been a headcanon of mine for awhile that Draco was premature, so I decided to have it in this story. I don't think I'll have Severus and Lucius getting back together, since Severus isn't really the type to forgive someone for abandoning him. Thanks for the review :)
I'm glad that you liked this chapter and the previous one, and hope you keep enjoying it. I'm going to try to keep a good balance between Harry & Severus' interactions and Severus' memories of his pregnancy, so there will be a few more parts involving that, and if you think it's cruel for Lucius to name Severus godfather to Draco (which it is), what he does in one of the upcoming chapters, after Draco is born, will be a bit more audacious than that.
Author's Response: There's going to be more Harry interactions in the next chapter. I'm trying to keep a balance between Severus' memories and his interactions with Harry.
Author's Response: Glad you liked it, thanks for the review :)
Author's Response: That will be discussed in the next chapter :)
Probably - even without love at first, they might developed devotion to each other. Definitely I'd prefer Lucius and Severus relationship to stay in the past - it will be easier for Harry to bear.. Author's Response: Thanks for your review :) Whether or not the Malfoys are still devoted to each other, I don't think that Lucius and Severus will be together in this story. Despite the fact that I like the pairing, I don't think that it would work with how I'm writing Snape in this. Lucius walked out on him once, I don't think Snape's the type to take someone back after he'd been left like that.
Author's Response: That is a good point. Severus, once Lucius had proved that he was too afraid of what would happen (ie. being disowned) if he stood up to his father about their relationship, had started to realize that, with or without Harry, Lucius would never admit that they had been together. They may still be friends, of a sort, but I'm quite possibly not going to put Severus and Lucius back together. It would be too flawed, really, among other things. |
