    Nice start of the story so far. There is however a problem with your lay-out. The sentences are too close together on the site. I am not sure how you format your stories, but I think you should try to fix it, because there is hardly any space between lines.

    Keep up the story though!

    Yeah, I've been noticing that... I copy/paste my stories from my word processor, but the lines didn't use to come out so close together. I'm not sure when that started. I have edited the document itself to have 1.5 line spacing now, and that seems to have done the trick. Hopefully that will make for a bit easier reading!

    Author's Response: Aw, thanks, Reader! I do plan on getting some work done on the works I have exclusively over there, although this story is going to be just over here, for now, so I'm glad you were able to catch it! ^^

    An interesting, if common start. But it's one of my favorite genre's, so I look forward to more. kudos for capturing the actions needed on the part of rescuers so as not to become kidnappers in Harry's eyes. They let Harry make the decision and that's super important.

    I do imagine you're right, although I can't say I've read other stories with started with the death of the Dursleys myself. However, I do believe the rest of the tale should be more unique, or at the very least, my own take on such a story if it has been done before (wouldn't surprise me).

    Thank you for the feedback, and I'm glad you caught what Remus was attempting to do. It is very important - especially since Harry's already so untrusting.
