Reviews For Right in Front of Me (Book 1)
I loved Severus frantic pacing and arguing with Dumbledore. I wonder if Dumbledore knows Harry is a horcrux, if he would allow Harry to die. I love how Severus thinks of himself as a father to Harry, even if he doesn't want to admit it. He's in a bad way, doesn't he know that drinking is not going to enable him to protect and help Harry, as far away as Harry is? Can't wait to read more. Author's Response: Thanks!! Poor Sev, his go-to for dealing with his issues has always been his Occlumency shields. But when those start to crumble, he's got nothing, and turned to the only thing that could give him any semblance of peace without actually dealing with anything: drinking. Hopefully both he and Harry can work their issues out together, but I guess only time will tell. Thank you so much for the review! :)
Author's Response: I'm extremely happy that you liked it. Thank you so much for the review! :)
Author's Response: I didn't do a very good writing it - in fact I don't even think I mentioned it (shame on me - but Dumbledore did in fact strengthen the wards the day that Harry arrived. And I have a feeling you may be right about Harry staying with the Weasleys...
OH that last line-- Oooooh. Author's Response: I agree about Dumbledore. He's a meddling old fool who is doing his best to save the world from certain destruction. Poor guy, lol. And yeah, Severus is going through a MAJOR transformation, and with his traumatic background and all the issues he's never addressed, it's definitely a difficult scenario. I'm so glad you're enjoying the story. Thank you so much for the review! :)
Author's Response: For sure!! Thank you for the review! :)
Author's Response: Thank you for the kind words about my husband and family. It's definitely been a trying time. But it could have been SO much worse, so I'm thankful for every crazy moment. :) I'm so glad that you're enjoying the story! I completely agree about Dumbledore - totally manipulative and hypocritical. Thank you for the review! :) |
