Reviews For Right in Front of Me (Book 1)
Author's Response: Thanks! Without saying too much, his way of hiding it is important and comes back later in the story... Thank you for the review!
Author's Response: lol, That's a very good way of putting it. I think Harry must think he's in an episode of "The Twilight Zone", at this point... ;) Thank you for the review!
Author's Response: Snape was definitely NOT expecting what happened. I think it's knocked him off balance, to say the least. Thank you for the review!
Author's Response: The thought of entering Spinner's End induced a full-fledged panic attack for Harry. I'm sure it was also in part of what just happened to him, but still... The poor kid just can't catch a break!
Author's Response: Dudley is definitely twisted. If he wasn't such an evil brute, I'd actually feel sorry for him. I don't want to give away too much, but let's just say that it stems from his home life.
Author's Response: In my way of thinking, Minerva didn't see Harry at all that morning because he was probably too busy doing slave work - sorry, CHORES - inside the house. I'm sure after the Dursley's had him cook their breakfast, he was probably tasked with doing the dishes, cleaning the kitchen, mopping the floor, buffing the stainless steel appliances, vacuuming the living room, scrubbing the toilets, pruning the rose bushes in the back garden... You get the idea. :} Poor Harry - he's the definition of "cheap child labor". Thank you for the review!
Author's Response: Thank you so much!! I'm glad you're enjoying it.
Author's Response: I know, poor Harry... Thank you for the review!
Author's Response: You got it, my friend!! :) Thank you for the review!
He tells Harry that he was "weeping pathetically", he disciplines Harry because Harry was in a hurry to help Snape, he tells Harry that the Order "doesn't know what to do with Harry", then he tells Harry that what happened with Dudley was basically his fault. Way to make the abused child feel welcome, Snape. Author's Response: I know, he can be quite the bastard ('scuse my French). But although Snape may think he's got it all under control, he's very close to losing it (as we shall soon see...) Poor Snape. He's just as messed up as Harry, maybe even more so... |
