Thank you for sharing this and your own needs. I think you must be a very strong person to be able to get over this need and I’m full of admiration of you. I hope your writing helps and we will always want to read anything you want to write.
Author's Response: thank youuuuu so much, you've melted my heart!!! :)
This was so beautiful and compassionate to the struggles of self-harm that Harry and so many others in life share. Sharing what is real from the challenging depths of personal experience, especially within a world we all love so much, is a truly beautiful gift. Thank you for this.
Author's Response: thank you so much for your kind words, I'm so glad you liked it!!
Fantastic chapter, and story. I am so glad that Snape stopped Harry before he could harm himself this time. Cuting releases endorphins and I've always thought that an extreme workout would release even more. Perhaps Harry needs to run sprints, and do birpees and lift weights. :)
Thank you for writing and sharing this. I hope you can find the strength to turn to other coping mechanisms like Snape said.
Author's Response: Thank you, Jan, I appreciate it! We've got some rough waters to go through in the following chapters, but Harry will be okay in the end. I believe I will be as well!
Very nice
Author's Response: thank you!
This... this hits differently than any other story I've read. It hits too close to home. Self-harm and I are old friends, and I could feel what Harry feels, and I still struggle with the need on a daily basis sometimes.
I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, if there is one. I'd like to see how Harry and Severus handle this.
Author's Response: Oh, I hope it wasn't too triggering for you! I can definitely relate, as I wrote this as sort of a coping mechanism to prevent myself from relapsing. It's a difficult addiction to deal with. I hope the next chapter doesn't disappoint, thank you for reading :)
