Author's Response: Thanks. It always seemed to me that there must have been something going on between Snape and Lily, though in these fics I had Snape as a pureblood with a nasty DE past, so their relationship was a bit darker than in canon. I go into it more in the next sequel 'Repercussions' (on ffnet). I also did a young Snape/Lily/Marauders fic called 'Backfired' which, I think, got fairly close to the canon relationship. I was quite chuffed about that.
